How to apply paper to timber using Mod Podge! Youtube tutorial included!

I can't start any DIY project without the tools. Because once I start you can't stop me… hehe
I finally invested in a cutting mat! On sale yeah! I was one happy Jan.

1. Cutting Mat
2. Metal ruler ( I already have in my craft supplies)
3. Stanley knife (already have , but then I  discovered something better kaiser craft sharp angle knife)
4. Paper
I always ask Paul what he has in his shed before I go and buy!
I then hear "why did you buy that I have some in shed"
Seriously… do you ever listen !?!
I needed liquid nails to glue and clamp draw front back together
It was completely broken off.
1.sand paper
2. Pliers round and sharp (help pull nails out)
3. Timber filler
4. Rubber hammer
5. Screw driver

Got my little helper to work!
We managed to get the revolting handles off, the nails out and putty the holes back up. Give a light sand, and remember to wear your mask!
Undercoat time! This is where I made a boo boo I wanted a real rustic distressed look so instead of white you could use black undercoat. Or even easier use a spray paint!
1. Paint brushes
2. I used a roller in the end much quicker and less mess!
3. Mask for sanding
4. undercoat paint
5. Sanding block
6. drop sheet

Happy with my first attempt
Voila!
We had a bit of fun and painted the draws different colours.
