Dress up your table!

I've learnt a lot since we have moved into our new home, I was so single minded at the time and wanted everything new… BOY… Has my attitude changed! When you build or renovate costs are never ending, so I've learnt to live and love my old furniture. All I needed was to add a dash of style or Anni-ness as I usually say! It wasn't the boring old kitchen table, it had a character and style.

I've had the same centrepiece on my table for ages, a basket with pretty lavender. Unfortunately whenever I had visitors, we sat at the table and had to look over each other! I realised it was pretty, but not very practical.

It was time for a change… Gone were the days when you just had a fruit bowl or vase of flowers, that just ain't me!

It was a very easy change, I moved the tray from coffee table to the kitchen table… Voila! It worked so much better,  place mats, coasters, mags could fit properly, it was practical, and I could still add some pretty things!

 I hope I've inspired some of you out there to add a dash of style to whatever project you're doing!
