I have to admit, I was always a lover of babies and their cute chubbiness. I've loved every stage of Arabella's development, but this current stage is my favourite. I'm in awe of my 5 year old and I just cant get enough of her. Just the other day, she randomly told me a few facts — that in fact true. I thought... Wow! This kid is for real.
Mummy did you know...
Fawns turn into deers,
Caterpillars turn into butterflies,
Tadpoles turn into frogs,
A pupa turns into a ladybug,
Camels can walk for miles without water!
I was like, thank you for teaching mummy something new today!
Automatically I thought... journal time! I took her shopping to buy one. She found the perfect one at Smiggle. Throughout the week we are going to have special journal time.
Arabella is at the stage now, where she just loves to be involved in whatever I'm doing. Whether it's cleaning, tidying, baking, cooking, or my projects around the house. I'm like yeah, bring it on! I love an extra hand. Sometimes she transforms into a character like Dr Seuss, depending on the day and whatever her amazing imagination comes up with! Lol
The other day she had an allergic reaction to walnuts! I felt terrible. I knew she was sensitive to peanuts but not walnuts. She broke out in hives all over, it was scary because she hasn't had a flare up like this since she was a baby. At the time she asked me if she could cuddle Jesus... I thought how wonderful that she knows she can feel comfort from Jesus.
She comes up with questions all the time, and most of the time it's stuff I can't answer!
Then, just out of the blue she asked me this... Mummy can I take an aeroplane or rocket to Heaven so I can see Jesus & Heavenly Father?
Thank God for daughters xxx
