Living it up in LA!

We landed in LA after a very long flight. I was so glad to be on the ground. We picked up our rental car. It felt really weird being a passenger on the right side. GPS was a dream, we easily found our way to Pacific palisades, where we were staying with Paul's friends. Arabella was very hungry so we stopped in town. We found a little cafe had a bite to eat headed to our friends. Paul's friends were lovely!!!! We told them where we had eaten they told us celebs dine there! They also live in the same area. It was great staying with them so welcoming. They are a super healthy family they have a cleaner and nanny so it felt like we were staying with celebrities..Haha!!! Arabella got very attached to their dog Cody who she walked every morning!
Next day we decided to take a trip to Santa Monica boulevard... Hello great shops!!! Santa Monica pier. Arabella spotted some parrots you could hold and have photos with. Me and Paul looked at each other and thought.. GERMS! Lol!
Anyway she was very keen so she did it! She also found minnie & mickey. She enjoyed a ride on the Ferris wheel and I enjoyed a bit of adrenalin on the roller coaster. I really had to see Hollywood boulevard! We left in peak hour traffic it took 2 hours!! It wasn't all I had expected. I got to touch Robert pattinson's & Johnny depp hands so it was all worth the drive!
We said our goodbyes the next day to our friends in search of chipmunks.... Arabella's dream - we found squirrels she was very happy. The flight to Florida was not. Stop overs and late nights do not agree with us!
Today we had our first sleep in hooray! Watched American trash tv ( real housewives of Beverly Hills) Paul was enjoying it more than me! Hehe
Went out to explore Fort Lauderdale. It's tropical - weather is perfect and balmy.

Tomorrow we board out cruise very excited!!
