Im amazed how the first year of your babies life goes by in a flash. One minute your seeing beautiful gummy grins the next they have a mouth full of teeth! I was convinced I wasn't even going to have a party for Summer, but hubby put the guilt trip on me. I thought if I'm doing it, its my way or the highway! I love all things pretty, flowers, feathers, Gatsby inspired Garden party at the park sounds perfect. Little did I know that dragging everything to a park is just as much work. As always I left most things to the last minute but still managed to pull it off! I Iced the cake the morning of the  party which left me only an hour to put my magic together at the park. I had Arabella with me I couldn't have done it without her she was my mini me helper. I had the car running entire time with A/C on full blast so the "sugar free" cake smash wouldn't melt! :) After set up I could finally relax and enjoy the party it was a wonderful day. Anni xoxox

I glammed the sofa.

I have been trying to convince hubby to buy a new sofa for like ever! In the end I just gave up I thought if I can't live with it GLAM it. Im going thru the I hate 'brown" phase, and all our furniture is dark wood. Hubby reminds me we bought it new I would usually paint it don't have the time, since Summer is pretty much eating all day, and  I'm pretty much in the kitchen all day lol!

I love when you walk into your favourite home ware store and find the exact cushions you couldn't find anywhere on sale! I didn't even think twice - hello impulse buy! Im over the moon my sofa looks brand new total make over $300 Just a tad cheaper than a new sofa. We are still happily married  :)

Christmastopia

There is just something special about christmas time. Im sure its the twinkle in Arabellas eye, it brings back memories of my child hood. Its also a scared time and reminds to stop what Im doing and think of others.
