Focus on what really matters... My cookie time. (Arabella) she's had that nickname since she was a bub. I wanted to share the developmental changes, maturity Arabella has shown me in the last few months.
A few weeks ago, we were having dinner, Daddy was telling Arabella that he needs to work to so she can have more toys. Arabella said "No daddy, not toys you work to have food, water and pay bills". We both looked at each other shocked, so proud of her! Seriously what 5 year old responds that way.
The other day after church she couldn't wait to tell me what she had learnt in class.
"Mummy do you know I can pray whenever I want, anytime time of the day".
She proved that to me last night, instead of asking mummy (as she usually would), she plucked up the courage to go into the dark bathroom to turn light on. She told me Heavenly Father and Jesus were with her helping her to be brave.
I told her what a brave tinker and how proud I was.

As most days Im rushing, we were in the car Mummy had a tad of road rage (G rated) of course!

We were visiting a special friend Eliza she was very distressed crying, Arabella was very concerned for her friend, she didn't like to see Eliza sad, so she made her a special bed with her special toy.
As much as us mums love our free time, I just can't seem to get enough of that face I see at kinder pick up. She is just bursting with smiles always gives me the scoop of what she's done that day.
I love listening, sometimes it never ends though lol!

She really is my sunbeam, that shines brighter and helps shine her light thru mummy.
Im very proud of the beautiful person she is becoming, Im so grateful to be her mummy.
It really is the simple things in life are the best!
