Hellooo Everyone,
It has been quite a chaotic, stressful last week. Phew! Thank goodness it's all over.
Well as most of you know (or have been through) the newborn phase, it is quite a challenging time as a parent.
Arabella is now 5. Yes, it has become easier or shall I say a different phase. Seriously!!! Parenting at times can be the hardest job ever. Whether it comes to picking the right kinder, school or any decisions regarding your child, me, myself and I are complete analysers. YES. There is always a "what if" in my mind. So I have have finally come to a realisation that there is no perfect or right choice. It just has to be the best choice for our family.
Last week we got an offer at the kinder which is within walking distance from our place. That threw a spanner in the works. We were settled at our current kinder, just started to make new friends and had just been to a birthday party on the weekend. It will be our 3rd year at the current kinder. I have really enjoyed our time there.
That wasn't enough! "What if" was still ticking in my mind. lol!
I decided to spend a day at the new kinder to see if I was making the best choice for Arabella and how it would impact her.
I was very surprised how soon she adapted to the new teachers and the kids were fighting to be her new friend. I really forgot how resilient kids are and how excited she was to explore a new environment. I decided it was the best decision to take the place at the new kinder. We are all excited about the new change. We have also picked a Primary school. Two very big decisions in 1 week. I feel like I need a break from a break... lol!
We are so grateful for our time at Heatherdale, especially to the teachers, so Arabella and Mummy made some really cool thank you gifts.
